Who We Are

BELIEVERS...

 

A new church with a big heart.  Believers Southern Baptist Church began
in 2000 with a desire to share Jesus and minister in His name. 

 

In July 2000, the church purchased 19.3 acres of land on west 21st Street.
The church met at Hawthorne Suites Hotel for two years.  The church moved
into the first unit of a three phase building program in July 2002.  This
first unit includes an all-purpose area, used for worship on Sundays and
activities through the week, ten classrooms, offices, and kitchen.

 

Our second building was dedicated July 10, 2005.  It is used mostly as an
educational annex, and features many classrooms as well as a larger main
room.

 

The church hopes to develop the remaining land for recreational activities,
and perhaps in the future, a living area for senior adults.

 

The church features good Bible teaching for all ages each Sunday morning,
worship services on Sundays at 10:30 am and 6:00 pm.

 

Awanas meet each Wednesday at 6:20 pm during the school year.  Awanas are for children pre-K through
Grade 6.  We also have Bible study for youth at 6:30 pm and adults at 7:00 pm Wednesdays.
